Retail Sales Associate

The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at various store locations within a 15-mile radius of Store #1760, located at: 3850 Alpine Avenue NW Comstock Park MI, 49321. As a Retail Sales Associate, you'll have the opportunity to engage with a diverse range of customers, assisting them in finding the perfect Sherwin-Williams products to meet their needs. Your ability to provide exceptional customer service will help ensure maximum satisfaction and drive sales success. Your role will encompass: Delivering outstanding customer service to both wholesale and retail clients Understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions Resolving customer concerns swiftly and effectively Staying informed about product features and store visual standards Meeting and exceeding store sales targets on a consistent basis Key Responsibilities: Engaging customers both in person and over the phone to determine their needs Building lasting relationships with clients Accurately processing sales transactions in alignment with policies Maintaining organized and accurate work order files and formulas Stocking shelves and setting up attractive displays Assisting with deliveries and unloading trucks as needed Tinting and mixing products according to customer specifications Keeping the store clean and well-maintained Remaining knowledgeable about ongoing product promotions and options Adhering to inventory control procedures and suggesting sales improvements Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Eligible to work in the country without needing sponsorship for a work visa Valid, unrestricted Driver's License Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED One year of experience in retail or customer service Experience selling paint and related products Background in operating tinting and mixing equipment Ability to communicate in multiple languages, especially Spanish Sherwin-Williams nurtures a supportive community, providing resources and benefits to enhance your well-being and career growth.
