They are seeking an HR Business Partner to help support their client's business needs.

This role is

hybrid (onsite every Tuesday + 1 additional day and 3 days remote/week) in Chicago, IL.

In this role, you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will need to be proficient in HRIS software (preferably Rippling or like systems) and have a solid understanding of relevant HR laws, policies, and procedures. You must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations issues and inquiries related to HR policies and procedures. Provide quality guidance and interpretation on various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. Gather and organize documentation related to employee relations matters, such as performance and behavior-related incidents, terminations and resignations, and leaves and accommodations. Provide employee-related data and reports to various departments on a regular and ad-hoc basis. Maintain the internal HR resources, including process documentation on the intranet hubs, ensuring information is easily accessible, accurate, and regularly updated. Lead the logistical coordination of the New Hire Onboarding and Employee Exit programs, such as employee and manager communications, calendar management, and IT liaison. Support with administering the annual performance evaluation process. Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Skills And Qualifications

3+ years of progressive HRBP experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask Customer-focused attitude with a high level of professionalism and discretion Sound judgement and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with employees at all levels and handle sensitive information with discretion. Proficiency using HRIS systems and Google Suite
