MarketPro has partnered with one of the fastest-growing multifamily developers in the Southeast to lead the search for a dynamic Vice President of Resident Engagement—a newly created role designed to elevate the resident experience and activate hyper-local brand presence at scale. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary leader with a passion for hospitality, lifestyle programming, or community engagement to shape and execute a best-in-class resident experience strategy. With a rapidly expanding national portfolio, this organization is seeking an entrepreneurial executive who can build out a high-impact resident programming function from the ground up—translating localized, community-first initiatives into a scalable model that drives both satisfaction and retention. The Vice President of Resident Engagement will oversee all resident programming and guerrilla marketing efforts across the firm’s multifamily portfolio. This role is responsible for designing a robust, scalable calendar of resident events that foster community engagement and improve resident satisfaction, while also generating prospective leads through local, in-field marketing strategies. This individual will be responsible for planning, resourcing, and coordinating event logistics, managing promotional collateral, overseeing vendor relationships, and executing high-impact marketing activations within the submarkets where the firm operates. This position is central to the brand's commitment to delivering a best-in-class resident experience and driving local brand awareness across all communities. Key Responsibilities: Resident Event Programming Build and lead a team to design and manage a comprehensive, scalable resident event calendar across the entire portfolio. Customize events based on property demographics, seasonality, and location-specific preferences. Coordinate all aspects of event logistics including vendor management, supply ordering, and delivery schedules. Create and distribute property-specific event toolkits and promotional assets (flyers, signage, digital graphics) for on-site team execution. Collaborate with the Marketing Team to generate event-related social media posts. Track participation, engagement, and resident feedback using post-event surveys and internal reporting tools. Continuously refine the resident programming strategy based on participation trends and feedback data. Guerrilla & Field Marketing Design and execute grassroots marketing campaigns to generate new prospective resident leads. Develop and manage partnerships with local businesses, event venues, and neighborhood organizations. Coordinate sponsorship opportunities at local events, festivals, or community functions. Design and deploy branded pop-up booths, outreach collateral, and signage for in-person lead generation. Track and report on organic lead volume generated through field marketing initiatives. Partner with the centralized Marketing Team to ensure field marketing is aligned with broader brand goals and property-specific campaigns. Utilize site customization budget to uniquely enhance the feel, charm and ambience of each asset Coordinate closely with on-site team to support event implementation and logistical success. Ensure materials, signage, and collateral are delivered on time and tailored to property-specific needs. Create operational playbooks, SOPs, and templates for event execution at scale. Partner with Marketing, Centralized Operations, and Asset Management teams to align engagement programming with occupancy and retention goals. Qualifications: Required : 8+ years of experience in event programming, hospitality/event management, and/or field marketing. Proven ability to manage high-volume event planning and marketing logistics across a dispersed portfolio. Strong project management, vendor management, and communication skills. Experience coordinating with creative/marketing teams to create promotional assets. Ability to travel regularly to support activations across the portfolio. Self-starter mindset with strong organizational discipline and a passion for execution. Preferred : Prior work with in-field marketing, experiential campaigns, or sponsorship activations.
