In-Office Property Accountant up to $85,000

We are looking for an experienced and driven Property Accountant to take on full accounting responsibilities across our property portfolio and help us continue to grow. Responsibilities:

Manage comprehensive property accounting for both residential and commercial assets

Execute full-cycle accounting tasks: posting journal entries, preparing financial statements, and closing the books monthly

Oversee AP/AR processes, reconciliations, and day-to-day accounting functions specific to each property

Engage in budgeting and forecasting activities, contributing to the financial strategy of each asset

Collaborate closely with both field and in-office teams to ensure accurate and timely financial management

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in real estate or property accounting

Proficient in AppFolio or similar property management accounting software is a plus

Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and month-end close
