We're seeking a highly organized, creative, and motivated Marketing Coordinator to help expand our digital footprint & further establish brand presence.
Position Overview:
As the Marketing Coordinator for Skin Care Research, you will play a key role in implementing and managing day-to-day marketing efforts for SCR across digital and print channels. You'll be the central point of contact for ensuring SCR's brand message is consistent, engaging, and aligned with ongoing recruitment and awareness goals. This role is ideal for an entry-level marketing professional eager to contribute across a variety of platforms in a mission-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities: Website Management: Regularly update content on the SCR website, ensuring clinical trial listings are current and optimized for user experience. Social Media: Develop and schedule daily content for SCR's social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn) including graphics, captions, and campaign messaging. Social Media Ad Creation: Collaborate with the Digital & Performance Marketing Team to develop and launch paid social media advertisements (e.g., Facebook and Instagram ads) aimed at recruiting study participants and promoting SCR's brand. Email Marketing: Build and deploy email campaigns using software like Mailchimp to promote new studies, patient success stories, and health tips. Print Collateral & Assets: Create, format, and coordinate printing of flyers, brochures, posters, and in-office materials that support trial recruitment and branding. Brand Consistency: Maintain adherence to SCR's brand standards across all materials, digital and print. Marketing Support: Collaborate with DermCare's central marketing team to align SCR messaging with broader initiatives and tap into cross-brand resources. Project Coordination: Maintain internal trackers, monitor deadlines, and liaise with external vendors as needed to ensure timely execution of campaigns.
Qualifications
Qualifications: 1-2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content creation (internships or freelance accepted) Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and/or other design tools Working knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign Basic proficiency with website CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills Experience creating social media content, including Instagram Reels or short-form video Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Enthusiastic team player with a proactive attitude Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
