Accounting & Administrative Coordinator

Wage:
$20-30 per hour Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized
Accounting & Administrative Coordinator
to manage core accounting functions and provide administrative support to our growing team. This role is responsible for processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with financial reporting while also supporting day-to-day administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in accounting software, demonstrate strong integrity when handling confidential information, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting Functions Manage and enter transactions for accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile discrepancies and maintain accurate records
Process invoices, expense reports, payments, and credit checks
Follow up on overdue accounts and AR inquiries
Assist with payroll, budgets, and forecasts
Prepare financial reports and support month-end/year-end close
Collaborate with external CPA on annual activities
Maintain shareholder documents and records
Administrative Functions Provide high-level administrative support to leadership
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations
Maintain organized filing systems for confidential information
Act as liaison between administration and internal/external stakeholders
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required: Associate degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
1–3 years in an accounting or finance role
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
Experience in the organic/natural foods industry (a plus)
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
