The Opportunity: Are you interested in continuing your career in Europe in a mission-focused environment? We are looking for experienced, innovative, and motivated IT Specialists to support the enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners' mission objectives.
CACI offers an excellent opportunity for a self-directed, experienced Systems Administrator, SME. This position supports a DoD organization, USAR-EUR-AF, and their Mission Partner Atlantic Resolve North (ARN) located OCONUS in Poznan, Poland. The role requires travel OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Supports installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades, including cloud-based systems.
Provides support and expertise in systems technology, including virtual hardware and cloud capabilities.
Manages network and systems configurations to improve performance and maintain cybersecurity compliance.
Maintains network Active Directories, file servers, and print servers.
Assesses and supports testing of configuration changes and documents them.
Ensures configurations enable automated updates (e.g., System Center Configuration Manager).
Administers virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware).
Ensures system backups, recovery, and storage provisioning support COOP and DR plans.
Supports COOP and DR exercises, developing plans and implementing changes.
Performs audits of operating systems, servers, and applications.
Supports forensic audits and incident resolution.
Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, and network issues.
Monitors response times and evaluates user satisfaction, recommending improvements.
Interfaces with vendors, government, and technical staff on solutions and system management.
Participates in discussions and evaluations of new technologies.
Establishes goals and plans to meet project objectives.
Possesses and applies expertise on complex work assignments.
Mentors less-experienced personnel and may supervise others.
Qualifications:
Current adjudicated Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
BA/BS + 13 years of experience.
Certification – 8140 - FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, or CCSP.
Expertise in operating system management, network administration, cloud-based systems, and virtual environments.
Knowledge of system configurations, cybersecurity compliance, and performance optimization.
Experience managing active directories, file servers, virtualization platforms, and disaster recovery.
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues, including forensic audits.
Ability to evaluate user satisfaction and implement system improvements.
Leadership qualities in mentoring, vendor interfacing, and project management.
Ability to establish goals, develop plans, and contribute to technology evaluations.
Desired:
