is actively seeking a
Cable Assembly Quality Inspector
to support our aerospace and defense customer in
Oldsmar, FL . This is a full-time, on-site contract opportunity ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong experience in cable and harness inspections per IPC-A-620 standards.
The selected candidate will perform in-process and final visual inspections on cable assemblies and support production quality efforts. You'll use inspection tools, interpret technical documentation, and help ensure the highest level of compliance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Required Skills & Experience: Hands-on experience with
cable inspection
in accordance with
IPC-A-620 standards Ability to
identify solder and crimp non-conformances
in cable assemblies Proficient at reading and interpreting
blueprints, diagrams, parts lists, and work instructions Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of
revision control and quality documentation Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with assemblers, engineers, and quality teams Comfortable using
personal computers
and common software tools Willing and able to assist with
light assembly tasks
related to inspection areas, as needed Prior experience working in a
manufacturing environment
with cable and wire harnesses Additional Details:
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (overtime may be required on weekends) Medical Exam:
Candidates must successfully complete a medical screening per program guidelines Language Requirement:
Must be able to read and write English fluently Education:
