Our client, a general contractor based in Queens, is seeking an exceptional Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join their team. Specializing in high-end residential interior gut renovations across New York City, they work with top architects, designers, and discerning clients to deliver sophisticated, detail-driven spaces to their high-net-worth clients.
Job Description
As Project Manager / Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Lead and manage multiple high-end residential construction projects from pre-construction through close-out Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, designers, and consultants Oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and internal teams Conduct regular site visits to ensure progress, quality, and safety standards are met Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact timelines or budgets Negotiate contracts, change orders, and procurement with a strategic and cost-effective mindset Ensure projects are delivered with the highest level of craftsmanship and client satisfaction MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
6+ Years of experience in residential construction project management with a focus on high-end interiors in NYC Proven ability to manage client relationships and represent the company with professionalism and discretion Deep understanding of NYC construction codes, DOB processes, and luxury building standards Strong technical knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials Proficiency in project management tools (Buildertrend, Procore, MS Project, etc.) Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills What's on Offer
