We’re looking for a
Production Supervisor
to lead operations in a batch-based chemical manufacturing setting. This role requires a strong background in chemical processes and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemical engineering and the ability to connect technical expertise with day-to-day production oversight. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily production schedules and resources in a 24/5 operation. Work with management, engineering, and maintenance to improve production efficiency and address equipment or material needs. Make decisions within company procedures, including MOC, ECN, and safety protocols. Train, certify, and monitor performance of team members. Participate in scheduling meetings to align production with demand. Ensure GMP compliance and maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, and training records. Promote safety, quality, and teamwork on the production floor. Lead team communication and resolve production issues as they arise. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field with relevant experience. 5–7 years in manufacturing operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure. Experience with Root Cause Analysis (5Y, Fishbone), Lean, or Six Sigma. Familiarity with GMP, MOC, ECN, and chemical process protocols. Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP or ERP systems, and barcode scanning tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records. Preferred: Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Lean Six Sigma certification. Experience in chemical or microelectronics manufacturing. Physical Requirements: Ability to wear a respirator when needed. Lift 10–25 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally (with assistance if over 50 lbs).
