We’re looking for a Production Supervisor to lead operations in a batch-based chemical manufacturing setting. This role requires a strong background in chemical processes and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a degree in chemical engineering and the ability to connect technical expertise with day-to-day production oversight. This position also offers growth potential into broader operations leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily production schedules and resources in a 24/5 operation.
  • Work with management, engineering, and maintenance to improve production efficiency and address equipment or material needs.
  • Make decisions within company procedures, including MOC, ECN, and safety protocols.
  • Train, certify, and monitor performance of team members.
  • Participate in scheduling meetings to align production with demand.
  • Ensure GMP compliance and maintain accurate documentation, SOPs, and training records.
  • Promote safety, quality, and teamwork on the production floor.
  • Lead team communication and resolve production issues as they arise.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical field with relevant experience.
  • 5–7 years in manufacturing operations, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience with Root Cause Analysis (5Y, Fishbone), Lean, or Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with GMP, MOC, ECN, and chemical process protocols.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP or ERP systems, and barcode scanning tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience in chemical or microelectronics manufacturing.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to wear a respirator when needed.
  • Lift 10–25 lbs regularly; up to 50 lbs occasionally (with assistance if over 50 lbs).
