A successful candidate will play an active role in FMU's existing academic and operational success. This student-centric role is responsible for delivering service excellence support to meet the needs of our university community. Communicate with faculty and staff and translate the institution's needs into operational procedures and systems.

Essential Functions:

Operate the following types of equipment and vehicles such as a 41-passenger bus. Performs daily inspections and vehicle maintenance checks including pre- and post-trip fuel and water tank maintenance and logs daily mileage. Addresses any issues that may arise with the vehicle. Department of Transportation (DOT) Training. Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills; highly organized and able to lead effective meetings. Display a working knowledge of office practices and procedures Gather and analyze information to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Dispatch Software, Power Campus, Power Phase, Jenzabar, other accounts, and telephone systems. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that logically relate to the position. Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to fifty (50) pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or GED with prior customer service or administrative experience. Bachelor's degree and higher education experience preferred. Must be 21 years or older. Must have a valid Florida Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B). Have a good driving record (MVR) Technical Skills: Knowledge of technology/office equipment and willingness to learn new information systems and software; proficiency in the use of computer applications and MS Office Suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Ability to maintain a professional demeanor, practicing strict confidentiality for all sensitive information. Promotes and practices the highest standards of personal and professional conduct. Attention to detail and adaptability to a changing environment is extremely important as well as dependability. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, LinkedIn Learning, as well as knowledge and understanding of the organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures. Familiar with Jenzabar technology suite for higher education. Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours. Pre-Employment Requirements:
