Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage a book of select to mid-market commercial accounts across diverse industries
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients regarding coverage, billing, certificates, endorsements, and renewals
  • Process policy changes, quote new business, and market accounts to carriers
  • Prepare proposals and renewal presentations
  • Maintain accurate client and policy data in the agency management system
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, underwriters, and team members
  • Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Support Producers with client service, retention, and upselling opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with agency and carrier guidelines


Qualifications:

  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an agency setting
  • Familiarity with various industry risk profiles and insurance needs
  • Strong understanding of commercial lines (e.g. GL, WC, commercial packages, BOPs, EPLI, professional lines, etc.)
  • Familiarity with agency management systems (e.g. AMS360, Applied Epic)
  • Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
  • Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Bilingual (English/Portuguese) is a plus
  • Experience working with multiple carriers and markets
