Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a book of select to mid-market commercial accounts across diverse industries
- Serve as the day-to-day contact for clients regarding coverage, billing, certificates, endorsements, and renewals
- Process policy changes, quote new business, and market accounts to carriers
- Prepare proposals and renewal presentations
- Maintain accurate client and policy data in the agency management system
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients, underwriters, and team members
- Identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate solutions
- Support Producers with client service, retention, and upselling opportunities
- Ensure compliance with agency and carrier guidelines
Qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license (required)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an agency setting
- Familiarity with various industry risk profiles and insurance needs
- Strong understanding of commercial lines (e.g. GL, WC, commercial packages, BOPs, EPLI, professional lines, etc.)
- Familiarity with agency management systems (e.g. AMS360, Applied Epic)
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Team-oriented with a proactive and positive attitude
- Bilingual (English/Portuguese) is a plus
- Experience working with multiple carriers and markets
