Target Salary: $85-95,000
Bonus/ Incentives/ Stock Options: up to 15% annual bonus
Job Summary: Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements (OSHA & ADEM) related to environmental programs and the health and safety of employees.
Job Duties:
- Provides regular approved Safety training to employees, including New Hire, OSHA, CPR, AED training, etc.
- Ensures compliance of facilities for OSHA, EPA, State, County and local policies and procedures
- Leads incident investigations and/or response teams for EHS incidents
- Implements corrective actions found during investigations and/or audits
- Manages preventable maintenance schedules
- Conducts Safety and Environmental audits and inspections
- Performs routine Job Safety Analyses
- Maintains and updates MSDS Materials/Manuals
- Serves as Facility’s Emergency Coordinator
- Monitors daily production to promote safe working conditions
- Leads Facility’s Safety Committee
- Maintains all records related to Safety function in a designated shop
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related field
- 3-5 years of EHS related experience in an industrial setting
- Experience with State and Federal environmental regulations
- Experience with Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- OSHA 10/30 hour; RCRA; HAZWOPER; HAZWASTE, DOT 181; Industrial Hygiene classes (CIH)
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Safety Certification (CSP, ASP, etc.)
