It involves ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies, including Anti-Money Laundering laws, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, securities laws, Fair Banking, Bank Secrecy Act, and USA PATRIOT Act. The role also includes conducting sales and relationship management activities in accordance with Bank of Hawaii and firm guidelines. Responsibilities Develop and maintain investment relationships, formulate investment strategies, and deliver recommendations based on clients' goals and risk profiles. Use firm-approved products and services, including mutual funds, insurance, and advisory solutions. Ensure timely execution of market transactions and compliance with industry and bank policies. Solicit clients through various channels, including phone, networking, and referrals. Travel within the community for client servicing and prospecting. Refer clients to specialists for advice and cross-selling opportunities. Use the Blue360 CRM system for tracking activities. Stay informed on market trends, product changes, and regulatory updates. Attend training and complete continuing education requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. FINRA Series 7, 66, and/or 65/63 licenses, and State of Hawaii Life, Accident, and Health license. CFP certification preferred. Experience levels vary from 2 to 7+ years, with corresponding production levels and expertise, including relationship management, sales, and investment knowledge. Proficiency with MS Office and bank systems required. Strong analytical, communication, networking, and organizational skills are essential. Ability to work flexible hours and operate a vehicle is required.
