Essential Function Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Assistant Managers support the Store Manager in all areas outlined below and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present.

Job Title: Assistant Manager
Primary Duties
Brand (30%) : Supervise and support associates' daily goals to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards such as merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, dress code, etc., are met. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate customer demands.
People (30%) : Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve results. Recruit actively and identify strengths and opportunities for each associate, providing coaching or counseling as needed. Maintain positive relations and communicate effectively with all levels.
Operations (30%) : Ensure execution of all company processes, including digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment. Manage inventory, scheduling, and store procedures accurately and timely.
Safety/Loss Prevention (10%) : Maintain a safe environment, follow policies, protect assets, and ensure compliance with safety training and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities and Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
Preferred: 3+ years retail/customer service experience, 1+ year management experience
Effective team leadership and communication skills
Availability to meet business needs
Cosmetology license desirable but not required
