Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Location: Kearney, NE 68845 (Nebraska nursing jobs) Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Shift: 12-hour nights (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 8/25/2025 - End: 11/24/2025) Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (may vary based on need) Holiday Requirement: One major and one minor holiday Scrub Color: Hospital provided Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2200-$2360 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state (Nebraska healthcare jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred) Strong IV skills required C-section circulating experience required Ability to float to NICU for feeders and growers as needed Proficient in EMR systems (MediTech and EPIC) L&D RN Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 10-bed LDRP unit Circulate for C-sections and assist in the operating room suite Monitor, assess, and document patient care; administer medications Support skin-to-skin care and couplet care model (babies remain with mothers) Collaborate with physicians, lactation counselors, and multidisciplinary healthcare team Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn safety Maintain a safe, supportive, and family-centered environment Apply now to join our healthcare team in Kearney, Nebraska and start your next travel nursing adventure!
