Pay Information $2,420 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 12.0 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years License: Registered Nurse License (NY License ONLY) Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Telemetry Experience Must-Have: Two years Med/Surg experience NIHSS (Preferred) Description: The Observation unit cares for adult patients needing additional observation to determine if their condition is serious enough for admission or if they can be treated and released home safely. This unit operates in a fast-paced environment, turning over 20 to 27 patients per day, with an average length of stay of 27 hours. There is 24/7 provider coverage on the unit. Care is provided for a diverse adult population, including both emergency observation and admitted boarding patients.
