Applicants must be dependable and highly motivated to gain invaluable professional experience, while working in a confidential setting. Due to the diversity and high-volume of our department, the applicant must be flexible within their daily duties, and eager to perform their post effectively. The ability to demonstrate strong multi-tasking skills, competence in attention to detail, effective navigation of a high demand work environment, and exceptional professional etiquette are a must. Most importantly, the applicant must possess superior communication expertise and a willingness to work as part of a team. We are looking for applicants that deal with conflict effectively, are flexible, and have a high energy level and commitment to making each of our student's and guest's experience exceptional. Responsibilities Interacting with students and guests in a friendly and professional manner Providing phone support Scheduling appointments Filing and maintaining documentation Facilitating office protocol and procedure Required Qualifications Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Candidate must be compliant with strict confidentiality Candidate must demonstrate effective time management Candidate must have the ability to remain patient and courteous when faced with difficult or challenging situations Preferred Qualifications Ability to work independently with minimum supervision Availability during course breaks (i.e. Summer, Wintermester, Spring) Exceptional problem-solving capabilities Schedule Expected hours to work per week: 20 Compensation Grade Student Employee Level 2 Please note, once you submit your application the only attachment/s viewable to you will be the attachment/s to the resume/CV section of the application.
