Quality and Development Chemist

to support the formulation, testing, and production of advanced functional materials, including catalysts, pastes, inks, and polymer casting solutions. This role involves working at the interface of laboratory research and pilot-scale manufacturing, with a focus on maintaining quality standards and advancing material performance. Key Responsibilities: Formulate and optimize casting solutions for existing and novel polymer systems. Develop and implement polymer exchange processes to enable compatibility with alternative solvents. Establish scalable cross-linking methods compatible with slot die coating processes. Identify and qualify reinforcement materials to enhance membrane mechanical stability. Design and test reinforced membrane solutions aligned with scalable coating techniques. Collaborate with R&D and production teams to support scale-up, quality control, and documentation. Maintain compliance with laboratory safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. 13 years of hands-on experience in formulation, laboratory work, or chemical processing. Familiarity with coating techniques such as slot die or related thin-film technologies. Strong knowledge of polymer chemistry and solvent interaction. Proven ability to conduct quality control testing and interpret analytical results. Well-organized with strong documentation and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced R&D environment. Commitment to safety and good laboratory practices. Compensation: Base Pay:
