General Sales Manager – East
to oversee sales strategies and operations within the region. This role involves achieving targeted gross margins and market share through factory-direct retail and dealer sales channels. Essential Functions
Develop and implement go-to-market sales channel and distribution strategies to meet Timpte’s Mission and AOP targets for all wholesale sales in your assigned region. Utilize factory-direct retail and dealer sales channels to achieve AOP targets, focusing on key metrics such as MS%, margins, unit sales, and sales expenses. Gather and share relevant sales, operational, and market data to support planning, forecasting, and inventory management. Meet or exceed monthly sales targets for semitrailers and equipment trailers. Support New Product Development programs to meet milestones and sales goals for new models. Collaborate with Customer Support and other departments to develop business reporting systems that improve workflow and productivity. Assist in creating marketing materials and participate in trade shows to promote products and brand. Analyze market and competitive intelligence to inform pricing and product strategies. Recruit, train, and retain sales team members to support business growth. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or 10-15 years of sales experience managing teams with $100M+ annual revenue. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership skills with a comprehensive understanding of business operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record for travel.
