Accounts Payable Supervisor
Opening its doors over 45 years ago, FSSI is a leading document outsourcing company servicing Fortune 500 companies in the financial, banking, insurance and billing industries across the U.S. We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. Schedule: Mon-Fri, Full-time. This is an onsite position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure thorough review of invoices and payments for accuracy and completeness. Review and update guidelines and processes for proper handling and coding of invoices to maintain general ledger expense account and inventory records. Review and verify Purchase Orders to ensure they are coded correctly. Assist Accounts Payable team in processing and handling bills for payment and other AP functions. Analyze expense reports and other invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment. Verify payments before final payment to vendors. Reconcile accounts payable Aging report to general ledger balances. Ensure PO related to purchases made exclusively for Customers are submitted to billing team in a timely manner. Facilitate correct and timely preparation of budget reports and purchase journals. Ensure proper recordkeeping of purchases for use in tax preparation and periodic audits. Ensure W9s have been collected from all vendors prior to paying vendors and to ensure accurate and timely preparation of year-end 1099s. Assist Staff Accountant team with daily accounting functions as needed. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and assist with month-end closing tasks. Ensure proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records to assist in audits. Perform other related duties as assigned.
