HR Generalist (Temporary- 6 month contract) - Aerospace Industry Location:

Livonia, MI Pay:

$24-$29/hour (based on experience) Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We're seeking a

proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist

to join our team in Livonia, MI. This position is with a

leading aerospace company , offering you the opportunity to contribute your HR expertise in a fast-paced, innovative industry. You'll take the lead on recruitment, onboarding, payroll support, and overall HR operations-helping shape a positive candidate experience and supporting a high-performing workforce.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred 3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on recruitment and onboarding Knowledge of HRIS systems and payroll operations Familiarity with federal and state employment laws and HR best practices Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills Strong attention to detail and discretion with confidential information Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

Manage the full recruitment process from job posting to offer stage Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Collaborate with managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements Assist in employer branding initiatives to attract top aerospace talent Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience Onboarding & New Hire Orientation

Coordinate pre-employment steps (background checks, drug screens, onboarding paperwork) Facilitate engaging new hire orientations introducing company culture, policies, and procedures Collect and verify all new hire documentation (W-4, I-9, direct deposit forms, etc.) Maintain and update onboarding checklists and documentation Payroll Support & HR Operations

Assist with bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accurate data entry and updates Maintain employee records in UKG, ensuring compliance and accuracy Conduct employee data audits and generate reports as needed Support benefits administration and respond to onboarding-related employee inquiries Preferred Skills:

Experience with ATS platforms (Njoyn) and onboarding software Experience with UKG and ADP HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus Pay Details:

$24.00 to $29.00 per hour
