Full-Time Job Description
This role is responsible for the overall planning, direction, and operation of the financial services for the organization. The director oversees strategies and makes decisions on complex judgmental issues related to audit procedures. They establish and maintain an accounting system to meet organizational needs and ensure complete and accurate records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions. The role also involves preparing, monitoring, and analyzing third-party cost reports. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Planning and directing all financial activities. Establishing standards of performance, quality control, and department productivity. Analyzing income, expenditures, and capital asset values, with comparisons to previous periods, and making recommendations to reduce operating costs and increase income. Preparing and maintaining financial reports. Preparing and maintaining the department budget. Preparing annual tax returns and fulfilling filing requirements. Requirements:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Seven (7) years of management experience in Accounting/Finance. Preferred:
