Account Manager – Consumer Goods (Fragrance Focus)

Overview:

We’re looking for a passionate Account Manager with 5–7 years of experience in the consumer goods industry (fragrance, cosmetics, flavors, or ingredients). You’ll drive commercial strategy and product development by leading cross-functional projects, building strong customer relationships, and identifying growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Biology, Arts & Fashion) Experience in sales, marketing, product development, or technical roles Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Financial acumen (pricing, margin, forecasting) Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel Customer-centric with B2B experience Olfactive skills and fragrance knowledge is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage complex projects across internal teams (Marketing, R&D, Creative, etc.) Identify market gaps and develop strategies to grow or defend business Build and execute account plans; maintain strong customer relationships Present insights and solutions to customers and internal stakeholders Ensure accurate sales forecasting and support operational planning Track project progress, analyze outcomes, and report results Travel up to 20% as needed

Excellent project management and prioritization Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Adaptable, collaborative, and able to work independently
