Description Leidos is on the lookout for a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and manage a team of program managers. This is more than just a leadership role; it requires a strategic mindset, outstanding leadership skills, and a successful history of delivering impactful programs. As the Senior Program Manager, you will be the driving force behind program execution, aligning teams with overarching organizational goals while fostering an inspiring culture of collaboration and top-tier performance. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership:

Design, plan, and implement large-scale programs that meet business objectives, timelines, and budgets. Team Management:

Guide and mentor a team of program managers, offering direction, performance evaluations, and opportunities for professional growth. Stakeholder Engagement:

Partner with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to achieve consensus and effectively resolve conflicts. Process Optimization:

Create and roll out scalable program management frameworks, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and results. Risk Management:

Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate program risks, offering anticipatory solutions to emerging challenges. Performance Tracking:

Set key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor program developments, and communicate outcomes to executives and stakeholders. Change Management:

Direct teams through organizational changes ensuring successful transitions and adoption of new processes or technologies. Qualifications Education:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Experience:

Over 12 years in program or project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing other program managers. Achievement:

Demonstrated ability to deliver complex, cross-functional programs in a fast-paced setting. Skills:

Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with program management tools (like Jira, Asana, MS Project) and methodologies (such as Agile, Waterfall, PMI, NPI). Relationship Building:

Ability to influence and establish relationships at all levels within an organization. Certifications:

PMP, PgMP, or similar certification is advantageous. Desired Qualifications Knowledge of radio frequency technologies or programs. Experience with aviation security technologies or programs.
