HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Technician - Electrical in the manufacturing industry in St. Louis, MO!
Salary:
$28-$36 Shift Options: 1st Shift:
6:30 AM 2:30 PM 2nd Shift:
2:30 PM 10:30 PM
Location:
St. Louis, MO
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Install, rebuild, and maintain equipment controls including PCs, PLCs, and custom controllers. Program and troubleshoot electronic control circuits for specialized production equipment. Work with servos, encoders, relays, light curtains, switches, sensors, and other control systems. Troubleshoot and repair PC-based controls, network interfaces, and electrical plant systems. Interpret and write PLC ladder logic programs and associated circuits. Create bills of materials and execute electrical projects from start to finish. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical-related plant equipment and facilities. Weld, braze, and fabricate components as needed. Operate forklifts after certification and track repair costs.
Education Requirements: Associates degree in electronics, industrial technology, or electrical systems
OR
45+ years of relevant controls experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and circuit drawings. Skilled in building/wiring control panels, programming, and debugging systems. Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and controls systems. Proficient in soldering, wiring harnesses, and electrical connectors. Welding and brazing experience. Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) and ability to pass eye exam.
