This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation. Responsibilities: This job is responsible for overseeing and leading business control activities for the GT & BMC Business Enablement organization Ensuring transparency and consistency of communications, providing oversight and guidance on deliverables Developing and managing strong relationships with the technology teams, GCOR and Control Partners Ensuring partnership on all deliverables, continuously assessing and enhancing processes, improving the quality and execution of deliverables, and identifying new approaches to improve effectiveness and realize efficiencies Driving improvements in processes/tools related to data collection Identifying, assessing and communicating emerging themes and trends based on various information gathering methodologies, sources and through overseeing various business controls Supporting operational research required for monitoring and inspection reviews and capturing data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting Required Qualifications: 5+ years Quality Analyst/Quality Control experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of aligning stakeholders, proven ability to influence peers/stakeholders Knowledge of project management concepts Proven ability to manage multiple and often competing priorities in a global and fast paced environment Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, influencing the opinions and actions of key stakeholders and gaining their trust Detail oriented with an ability to review documentation for accuracy Excellent facilitation and presentation skills Ability to effectively collaborate with others in different locations Ability to identify, resolve or escalate issues in order to ensure that program timelines are met Excellent written and verbal communication skills Wide knowledge of computing platforms and solutions Desired Qualifications: IT degree preferred or substantially equivalent experience Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners Prior operational risk or compliance experience in the technology arena Proven ability to foster the Identify, Escalate, Debate Risk Culture Skills: Controls Management Issue Management Monitoring, Surveillance, and Testing Quality Assurance Risk Management Analytical Thinking Attention to Detail Critical Thinking Problem Solving Written Communications Decision Making Innovative Thinking Prioritization Recording/Organizing Information Research Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)
