American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position, requiring recent Epic experience and advanced critical care certifications.Job Details•Work in a busy Neuro Trauma ICU within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma Center,•Night shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30),•Nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2,•Patient population includes medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases,•Top diagnoses and procedures include GIB, DKA, sepsis, ARDS, cardiac arrest, CVA, and ICH,•Specialized procedures performed such as chest tube and central line insertion, bedside tracheostomy, and cardiac catheter interventions,•Uses advanced equipment including Pa catheters, Impella devices, ventilators, CRRT, IABP, and Artic Sun pads,•Epic is the charting system used and recent experience is required,•Travelers must float between CVICU and NTICU, as well as to Telemetry, Acute Care, Observation, and ED boarding as needed,•No on-call requirement,Job Requirements•Active RN license required; pending license accepted with proof of application,•Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; preferred: TNCC/TCAR, CCRN, CSC, SCRN, TCRN,•At least 2 years of ICU experience preferred; will consider 1 year with recent large facility experience,•Recent Epic documentation experience required,•Prior neuro trauma and critical care experience required, including management of multi-system organ failure and complex hemodynamic interventions,•Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19; booster not required,•Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are not accepted,•Must not have been employed by PeaceHealth System within the past year,Additional Information•Responsibilities include management of acute and chronic renal failure, blood product administration, advanced airway and ventilator management, and infection prevention,•Team provides backup for hospital Code and Cardiac Arrest Teams and manages post-cardiac arrest patients with cooling protocols,•Flexible scheduling with weekend assignments based on unit needs,•Scrubs of any color may be worn; scrubs not provided,•First-time travelers will not be considered; preference for candidates with 2-3 travel assignments completed,•A four-hour unit orientation provided prior to floating,•Parking is free on site,•Module completion is not required,),•hash,:•4289473891854436800,
