Customer Service Representative
We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our client's team to support during the holiday season. This role supports a food production company located in the greater Portland area, and requires a proactive individual with exceptional communication skills. You will play a key role in addressing customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities: Respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding products and services, ensuring a positive experience. Handle customer complaints and provide effective resolutions with attention to detail. Serve as backup for receptionist duties, answering front desk calls during breaks. Report product quality concerns to the appropriate departments for timely action. Track and log customer interactions accurately using internal systems. Coordinate with other teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently. Deliver high-quality service by maintaining a thorough understanding of company products. Process orders and address any issues related to order entry. Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to support administrative tasks and recordkeeping. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role. Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word. Familiarity with order entry processes. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
