In the position of
Licensed Social Worker / Independent Licensed Therapist , you will provide effective treatment for various mental health conditions, meeting the diverse needs of our patient population. Key Responsibilities: Establish strong provider-patient relationships and coordinate care with external healthcare providers. Conduct screenings and assessments for common mental health disorders. Utilize evidence-based treatment methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy, to deliver high-quality care. Monitor treatment progress systematically and track changes in clinical symptoms or side effects. Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Optum NY/NJ, formed from a merger of Riverside Medical Group, CareMount Medical, and ProHealth Care, offers patient-focused medical care across New York, New Jersey, and Southern Connecticut. Qualifications Required: Master's degree in social work or a related counseling field. Valid and unrestricted LCSW license in New York. Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of professional social work or clinical experience following your master's degree. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Full-time hybrid position, Monday to Friday, requiring a minimum of two in-office days and two late shifts, either in-office or via telemedicine. The salary range for this role is $59,500 to $116,600 annually, influenced by factors such as local labor markets, education, and experience.
