LHH is partnering with a large company that is searching for a temporary Accounting Analyst for their team. This individual will handle variance analysis in relation to project billing, vendor statements, and project budgeting. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of professional accounting work experience. Also, this position does coordinate with various internal and external customers, so professional communication skills are necessary. This position is fully in office in the Seattle, WA area.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform regular account reconciliations, analyze variances, and investigate significant discrepancies.
Manage vendor set-up and gather necessary documentation for payments.
Review and process journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in the general ledger.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic business decisions.
Contribute to the ongoing process improvement projects within the finance function.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or progress toward certification is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with other relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work product.
Employment Details :
Temporary for at least four months.
Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
Fully onsite in Seattle, WA.
Pay Details :
