We are currently looking for General Manufacturing Assemblers to join our team in Largo, FL. This role is not eligible for relocation. Local candidates preferred. Shift Schedule This position is for 2nd shift with the flexibility to work on 1st shift Work Hours: Monday

Friday 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm

11:30 pm 1st Shift: 7:00 am

3:30 pm What You Will Do:

Perform all assembly and disassembly operations to modify, repair, rework, retro-fit, upgrade and assemble cables, mechanical, electronic, microelectronic and hi-rel assemblies and subassemblies from operation instruction sheets, blueprints, process sheets, samples, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics in the manufacture of new and customer returned products. Use jigs, fixtures, soldering irons and other hand and power tools. Operates departmental machines and equipment as required. Perform the functions to operate the Surface Mount Device (SMD) equipment and wave solder machine. Enters parameters and operates the computers at the SMD machine and the I.R. reflow and wave solder machines. Sets-up and performs spraying or dipping operations for environmental protection of PCBs and assemblies. Perform paint touch-ups using tools such as Q-tips but excluding spray painting and mixing of paints. Perform all minor set-ups/adjustments on drill presses, arbor presses, wire cutting machines (Eubanks, Artos) wire strippers, twisters, jigs, fixtures, and component-cutting machines, tapping machines and other similar equipment. Receive and dispense to the lines, material, subassemblies and/or assemblies. Maintain storage lines to assure flow of material. Handle shortage release forms. Move material as directed. Verify workmanship and product quality standards as they relate to specific assembly operations. Collect data, prepare/maintain records, using either written or electronic media, as required and/or directed by supervisor. Will be involved in storing, handling, use and disposal of hazardous waste chemicals such as acids, caustics, flammables, poisons, and oxidizers in accordance with federal, state and local environmental protections laws. You will be retrained annually to comply with applicable state and federal regulations. This is in accordance with the codes of Federal Regulations Title #40, Section 265.16. May be required to satisfactorily complete 1 or more training courses. Must be able to lift up to 28 LBS. May be required to obtain appropriate government security clearance Qualifications You Must Have:
