What You Will Be Doing The main duties of this position include; adding and updating vendor information in the State of Alaska’s financial and procurement system based on requests from State of Alaska departments and vendors, responding to help desk inquiries from vendors and departments regarding Vendor Self Service (VSS) and Electronic Payments, and assisting with internal and external vendor audit.

Substitutions: Certification as an Accounting Technician from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience.

Post secondary education from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience (3 semester/4 quarter hours equal one month) if it includes at least 6 semester/8 quarter hours in Accounting.
