Accounting Clerk Opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of accounting and clerical tasks to support the department's efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices and managing payments.
  • Manage accounts receivable duties, such as monitoring incoming payments and maintaining records.
  • Perform billing functions, including generating invoices and ensuring timely distribution.
  • Enter and update financial data in accounting systems with precision and attention to detail.
  • Process invoices efficiently, verifying details and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Operate accounting software such as Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial records and systems.
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline workflows and improve processes.
  • Support various administrative tasks to enhance overall department operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial reporting.
  • Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Proficiency in billing and invoice processing tasks.
  • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Experience working with accounting systems like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
