The
Project Manager
position will work on IT projects for various State agencies in North Carolina. This position is instrumental in enabling our customers to make a difference in the lives of the people of the State. This position will be part of the NC DIT Project Management Office and will be responsible for leading moderately complex to more extensive IT project management work. Job duties include but are not limited to:
Plan, direct and administer medium to large-scale information technology programs/projects and ensure that they are successful from a schedule, budget, quality and deliverable perspective Provide expected technical capabilities, business expertise to all the projects and to derive the desired business results Ensure that projects are performed in accordance with statewide and NC DIT standards and practices, and are completed on-time, within budget, with the desired quality About the Organization The serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC. Services that NCDIT provides reach a client base of state and local government agencies, as well as schools, colleges and universities. NCDIT's is to enable trusted business-driven solutions that meet the needs of North Carolinians. NCDIT provides technology services to state agencies and is charged with by expanding availability of broadband services and promoting the adoption of affordable, high-speed internet.
