Accounting Specialist

Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and assisting with month-end closings. Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including processing invoices, posting payments, and managing collections. Assist in analyzing financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure entries are accurate. Prepare financial reports and summaries under the guidance of senior team members. Collaborate with client teams to streamline accounting processes and ensure compliance with policies. Support audits and provide requested documentation as needed. Take on additional ad hoc accounting tasks and projects to broaden your expertise. Requirements Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (Bachelor's preferred but not required.) 14 years of accounting experience (this can include internships or entry-level roles). Familiarity with accounting principles and processes, with exposure to AP, AR, general ledger, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (experience with platforms like QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar systems is a plus). Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookups) are preferred.
