Senior Financial Analyst
We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in refining forecasting models, enhancing budgeting frameworks, and providing insights into deal projections. This position requires a strong blend of financial expertise, analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel. Responsibilities: Develop and optimize financial forecasting models to improve accuracy and reliability. Enhance budgeting processes and tools to streamline financial planning. Collaborate closely with organizational leaders and the Controller to provide actionable insights and recommendations. Analyze deal projections to support strategic decision-making. Perform variance analysis to identify trends and deviations in financial performance. Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to address specific business needs. Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze and manipulate financial data effectively. Apply data mining techniques to extract and interpret key financial metrics. Present findings and recommendations in a clear and precise manner to stakeholders. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis and modeling. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas. Strong understanding of both finance and accounting principles. Proven ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and Controllers. Experience in performing variance and ad hoc analyses. Skilled in data mining techniques for financial insights. Quick thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication skills for presenting financial data and recommendations.
