**Onsite | Greenwood Village, CO** We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As our platform expands, we need an expert to build, maintain, and integrate new services within our AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and microservices architecture. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. Rate: $55 - $62 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS CDK (JavaScript/Python). Integrate and configure AWS services such as EventBridge to enhance our development pipeline. Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters on AWS EKS, including Docker container orchestration. Implement and manage service mesh solutions, preferably using Istio. Monitor and analyze system performance using Splunk and DataDog, with a preference for Splunk expertise. Support three environments: UAT, operations handoff, and production. Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features. Utilize Network as a Service (NaaS) to enhance network management and performance.
Experience Requirements:
Proven experience with AWS and microservices architecture. Strong expertise in Kubernetes and EKS. Proficiency in Terraform and AWS CDK, with the ability to write in JSON, JavaScript, or Python. Experience with service mesh technologies, particularly Istio, is a plus. Strong analytical skills with experience in Splunk and DataDog. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitLab. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
