Konza Prairie Community Health Center Financial Operations

Perform duties related to the daily financial operations of the Konza Prairie Community Health Center. Work requires interaction with administrative staff, clinic providers and clinic support staff. This is a security sensitive position. Work is performed under the supervision of the Controller and/or Chief Financial Officer.

Essential Job Functions

General

  1. Support accounting and AP functions
  2. Maintain procedures and internal controls
  3. Follow GAAP standards
  4. Prepare reports and assist staff as needed
  5. Cross-train for payroll and complete assigned tasks

Accounts Payable Responsibilities

  1. Process and reconcile vendor invoices
  2. Record expenses to appropriate accounts
  3. Resolve discrepancies and verify vendor eligibility
  4. Maintain AP records and prepare disbursements
  5. Assist with journal entries and financial closings

Financial Accounting

  1. Prepare and reconcile daily deposits
  2. Enter deposits and create AR invoices
  3. Reconcile petty cash and maintain check logs
  4. Record pharmacy inventory and journal entries
  5. Make bank deposits and scan/upload checks
Requirements
  1. High school diploma required; accounting/finance degree preferred
  2. 1+ year accounts payable experience
  3. Knowledge of bookkeeping and AP processes
  4. Accurate data entry and financial recordkeeping
  5. Skilled in spreadsheets and accounting software
  6. Strong customer service and communication skills
  7. Proficient in MS Office
  8. Familiar with office systems and equipment
  9. Strong time management and organization
  10. Detail-oriented and problem solver
  11. Maintains confidentiality and discretion
