Professional Solutions Delivered, LLC (ProSoDel) is a total solutions provider for government and commercial customers in the areas of Program Management, Logistics, Organizational Change Management, Communications, Training, and Information Technology (IT) Support Services. We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our team of professionals in support of the Navy Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) Warehouse Support Services (WSS) Program.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Perform vehicle dispatch functions for daily use of all Government-provided Non-Tactical Vehicle Equipment (NTVE) and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) in support of contract operations. Conduct routine dispatching, scheduling, and coordinate preventive and corrective (unscheduled) maintenance for all NTVE and MHE, including Government and contractor Government Furnished Equipment (GFE). Coordinate, dispatch, and schedule NTVE/MHE for service using the Maintenance, Management and Material (3M) system or other designated computer systems. Inspect vehicles before and after use for damage, safe operating condition, and required basic initial issue equipment. Initiate accident reporting with NTVE/MHE managers and safety personnel when required. Record starting and ending mileage accumulations daily in the dispatcher's log and report in conjunction with other NMRLC asset utilization reports. Performs related work as assigned. Experience
A minimum of two (2) years of experience as an equipment dispatcher. Familiar with pertinent federal, state, and local laws, regulations, policies, and precedents that affect the use of vehicles and equipment on federal and state roads. Familiar with hazardous materials transport and vehicle regulations associated with transporting such materials. Previous United States military service experience is a HUGE PLUS. A valid driver's license. Must be able to work a light to moderate physical effort. Requirements include walking, standing, reaching, bending, and moving items. May require lifting and carrying weight over 45 pounds. Must have the ability to read, interpret and apply reference material such as regulations, manuals, catalogs, records, orders, etc. to accomplish and resolve problems; the ability to read and speak the English language, correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to prepare and edit written correspondence, reports, and transcribed material; be proficient in US standard office equipment, such as computers, copiers, fax machines, telephone systems and office automation systems, to perform a substantial range of warehouse support; and the knowledge of basic ethical principles, telephone etiquette, excellent communications and customer service skills and ability.
