What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Analyze new and evolving privacy and AI laws to assess business impact and develop compliance strategies - Lead complex privacy data-use risk assessments and consult on controls to reduce risk - Consult on enterprise initiatives and high-risk vendors to ensure compliant use of personal data - Provide guidance on permissible data access, data minimization, and consumer privacy rights - Support privacy incident response and enterprise-wide privacy training efforts
What is Required (Qualifications): - Strong background in privacy, data protection, or regulatory compliance with knowledge of U.S. privacy laws - Experience applying legal and regulatory frameworks to business practices and collaborating across teams - Strategic and analytical mindset focused on enabling compliant business solutions and risk management - Foundational understanding of digital privacy, Generative AI, and data governance - Excellent communication and influence skills to translate regulatory concepts into actionable guidance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Juris Doctor (JD) degree - 4-6 years of experience in privacy compliance and 1-2 years in AI compliance - Familiarity with financial services, insurance, health, or banking sectors - General knowledge of technologies to assess and deploy privacy solutions
