About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a
Warehouse Associate
and play a vital role in ensuring freight moves efficiently. You'll work alongside a top-caliber management team that deeply understands the transportation industry. This specific position will primarily focus on our cabinet handling operations.
You'll be responsible for consistently
carrying and moving heavy cabinet units
from inside trailers to designated locations using a hand dolly. This includes offloading, receiving, moving, and picking cabinets for specific routes. Additionally, you'll provide general warehouse support as needed, assisting with tasks like garbage and cardboard management, and lifting other heavy items like mattresses.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with
shipping and receiving activities , including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders. Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to accurately move, gather, distribute, or ship items. Ensure the warehouse remains
accessible and safe
for all employees and customers by adhering to all safety policies and procedures. Complete work safely, always prioritizing and following established safety guidelines. Participate in
inventory counts
and product assembly as needed. Take check calls from drivers to confirm timely load deliveries and validate all load data for accounting purposes. Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries, verifying that loads arrive on time and in good condition. What You'll Need to Excel
Ability to
lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds
consistently. Demonstrated ability to
load and unload trucks . Basic written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer skills. Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, as dictated by freight volumes. Dock or warehouse experience within the transportation industry. Experience with loading and unloading trailers. Familiarity with handheld scanners. Strong critical thinking skills to effectively carry out written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions. Why Join Us?

Pay Details:
$16.00 per week
