Family Birthing Center (LDRP – L&D, Postpartum, OB) Shifts:
12-hr Nights | Every Other Weekend | First to Float
Hours:
36 hrs/week (guaranteed) Charting:
Cerner
Requirements:
Active California RN license. 2+ years of L&D experience required.
BLS, ACLS, NRP, & Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
Skills:
Must be able to:
Catch babies
(NRP role) Manage high-risk patients & couplet care
Circulate C-sections confidently
Float to Mother/Baby when needed
Read/interpret fetal monitoring & EKG strips (PACU moms) Unit Details:
Beds:
10 L&D | 12 Postpartum | 3 OB-ED | 3 Antepartum Testing | 2 C-section ORs
Volume:
100–150 births/month
Ratios (AWHONN Guidelines):
L&D: 1:1–2 Couplet: 1:3–4 Antepartum: 1:1–3 Common Cases:
Preterm labor, inductions, C-sections, HTN, bleeding
Meds/Drips:
