Under the direction of the District Manager, the General Manager is responsible for achieving sales and profit targets for Buona Restaurant and Buona Catering Retail.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets and develop strategies to impact sales across all revenue areas
- Enforce and execute marketing plans
- Manage and control expenses, including direct expenses, food costs, repairs, maintenance, and discounts
- Oversee staffing, including selection, retention, supervision, and training of hourly employees
- Conduct quarterly reviews and adhere to training programs
- Develop employees into shift managers and conduct weekly meetings with Co-Managers
- Build sales, manage staffing levels, labor costs, and food cost variances
- Oversee building and equipment repairs, enforce policies and procedures, and evaluate systems and procedures
- Handle store emergencies and communicate marketing opportunities to staff
Reporting
- Reports directly to the District Manager
- Participates in weekly and monthly meetings
