The Enterprise Systems Architecture Engineer II responsibilities include improving the current IT infrastructure, optimizing business operations, and assisting with the direction and approach for integrating information applications and programs. The role involves cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, and maintaining overall enterprise architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the organization's business and technology activities. Key duties include providing technical expertise in modeling and analysis of military systems and system-of-systems, conducting trade studies and performance assessments, applying model-based system engineering (MBSE) using frameworks such as DoDAF, UAF, SysML, and UML, analyzing MBSE models to derive mission threads and use cases, creating business architecture models, evaluating systems engineering and accounting models, suggesting cost reduction ideas, organizing training, providing business architecture and systems processing, ensuring efficiency and security of the organization's IT, creating compliance architecture methods, developing expertise in company IT products, supporting sales team activities, and adapting to evolving market conditions. Required skills include system engineering and architecture design using Cameo, hands-on experience with DoDAF, UAF, SysML, UML modeling, MBSE experience with Cameo Enterprise Architect or similar tools, strong technical, analytical, project management, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Experience required is 5+ years in system engineering or enterprise architecture using Cameo and MBSE. Education preferred is a technical BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics. An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required (TS only is not sufficient). The position is fully on-site (5 days per week) in Fort Belvoir, VA or Warrenton, VA.
