We're hiring a Founding Sales Leader to drive growth at a fast-moving company modernizing how businesses manage tax compliance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves building from scratch, and can seamlessly shift between setting vision and rolling up their sleeves to close deals.

You'll be the first sales hire , working directly with founders to build the GTM engine, close complex 7-figure deals, and shape the future of the sales org.

What You'll Do:

• Own the entire sales cycle , targeting C-suite leaders (esp. Chief Tax Officers)
• Close $3M+ deals with public sector clients across Texas counties
• Define sales strategy, ICP, and playbook from scratch
• Attend key industry events and represent the company externally
• Collaborate on pipeline, forecasting, and CRM structure

What We're Looking For:

• 5–10 years of B2B sales experience (SaaS, fintech, govtech, compliance)
• Skilled in relationship-based sales to enterprise or public sector
• Proven ability to thrive in 0→1 environments
• Strong communicator with builder mentality
