POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a key member of the InVision Human Services Executive Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive talent acquisition and management strategy aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and guiding principles. The CHRO leads the Human Resources (HR) and Learning & Development (L&D) departments, partnering with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic guidance on company infrastructure, diversity, executive coaching, team building, compensation, compliance, employee engagement, organizational design, change management, and workplace effectiveness. This role collaborates with executive leadership to foster a culture consistent with the company's values and strategic objectives, ensuring alignment between business initiatives and organizational philosophy.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) is a key member of the InVision Human Services Executive Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive talent acquisition and management strategy aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and guiding principles. The CHRO leads the Human Resources (HR) and Learning & Development (L&D) departments, partnering with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic guidance on company infrastructure, diversity, executive coaching, team building, compensation, compliance, employee engagement, organizational design, change management, and workplace effectiveness. This role collaborates with executive leadership to foster a culture consistent with the company's values and strategic objectives, ensuring alignment between business initiatives and organizational philosophy.
Essential Functions
- Lead HR and L&D departments, ensuring initiatives align with the company’s mission, vision, and culture.
- Foster a culture of excellence and align expectations with company principles.
- Implement recruitment and retention strategies to support company growth.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives aligned with company values.
- Participate in long-term strategic planning and collaborate with executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Oversee compensation, including executive compensation, benefits administration, and salary policies.
- Conduct HR due diligence on potential acquisitions or partnerships.
- Develop, revise, and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Consult with legal counsel on HR matters as needed.
- Direct HR functions and manage department staff.
- Oversee leadership development, executive coaching, and succession planning.
- Implement recruitment and retention strategies to support company growth.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives aligned with company values.
- Optimize organizational design for efficiency and scalability.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field (Master’s preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 15 years of HR management experience, including 5 years in executive leadership.
- Broad HR expertise, including employment law, recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, and organizational planning.
- Strong understanding of state and federal employment laws.
- Proficiency with electronic systems and HR technology – UKG Ready preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and inspire at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of operations fundamentals in a business or nonprofit/human services environment.
- Frequent sitting, talking, hearing, and use of hands.
- Occasional standing, walking, and lifting to 25 pounds.
- Requires close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.
