This full-time, on-site position offers the opportunity to handle a variety of personal injury and civil rights cases. Duties
- Represent clients in personal injury and civil rights cases, including handling all aspects of trial preparation and legal proceedings.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents necessary for case progression.
- Attend court hearings and trials, providing legal counsel and advocating for client interests.
- Conduct depositions, interact with witnesses, and gather evidence to support case strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure timely completion of tasks and deliver quality outcomes.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to provide case updates and manage expectations.
- Stay updated on legal developments and procedures relevant to personal injury and civil rights law.
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- Proven experience in personal injury law and civil rights litigation.
- Ability to handle court proceedings, trials, and legal motions confidently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
