Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) - Travel Assignment Location: Carlsbad, NM 88220 (New Mexico nursing jobs) Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract Specialties: Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, LDRP Start Date: 9/8/2025 End Date: 12/8/2025 Shift: 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1860 - $2200 EMR Systems: MedHost (inpatient), GE Centricity (OB), Athena (Clinic) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active and unencumbered RN license (Registered Nurse) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal phases Apply the nursing process in accordance with New Mexico Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies Maintain clinical competency and participate in ongoing nursing education Delegate and supervise patient care tasks based on staff qualifications Provide direction and support to assigned healthcare personnel Care for patients in LDRP settings, including antepartum triage, active labor, postpartum (mother and baby), and special care nursery Ready to take the next step in your travel nursing career?
